3.9k exclusive brands advertised on radio during Jan-Mar’23: TAM AdEx

Radio Ad Volumes increased by 20% in Jan-Mar’23, compared to Jan-Mar’21, as per TAM Media’s report on radio advertising during the first three months of this year. The Top 10 brands contributed 12% share of the radio ad volumes during Jan-Mar’23. 3.9k exclusive brands advertised during JanMar’23.

The Services sector had 32% share of Ad Volumes on Radio, followed by BFSI with 13% share during Jan-Mar’22. In terms of growth percentage, Automotive Fuel category witnessed highest growth among the Top 10, that is, 44x in Jan-Mar’23.

Properties/ Real Estates, Retail Outlets - Jewellers and Cars retained their ranks. LIC of India was the leading advertiser during Jan-Mar’23.

The Evening time-band was the most preferred time-band on Radio, followed by Morning and Afternoon time-bands.

Gujarat State was the leading state with 21% share of the Ad volumes on Radio, followed by Maharashtra with 18% share. Jaipur ascended to the 1st position during Jan-Mar’23 with 8% share of the ad volumes on radio.
