950+ advertisers from Travel & Tourism advertised on digital in Q1 2023
Ad Insertions of Travel and Tourism (including Ecom-Travel & Tourism) on Digital medium saw a rise of 18% in Jan-Mar’23 over Jan-Mar’22, as per a TAM AdEx report on the sector’s commercial advertising.
During the first quarter of Y 2023, there were 950+ advertisers and 1,000+ brands advertising in the Travel and Tourism category.
The Top 10 Advertisers had 70% share of Ad Insertions during Jan-Mar'23, with Dubai Comm/Tour Promotion Board on top of the list with a 14% share, followed by Kayak, and Orissa Tourism Development Corporation.
Dubai Tourism also topped the Top 10 Brands’ list with 14% share, followed by Kayak.co.in, Eco Retreat Odisha and Cleartrip.Com.
Display Ads had more than 70% share of the category Ad Insertions during Jan-Mar’23 compared to Jan-Mar’22.
The number of video ads of the Travel and Tourism category grew by 2.1x in the Jan-Mar’23 period compared to the same period in 2022.
Among the Digital Platforms, Desktop Display topped with 43% share of the Ad Insertions, followed by Mobile Display with 25% share.
