A Century of Truth: Hindustan Times marks 100 years as India's trusted voice

For a century, Hindustan Times has been more than a newspaper - it has been the chronicler of  India's destiny. From the struggle for independence to the birth of the world's largest democracy,  from moments of national glory to global challenges, Hindustan Times has stood unwavering as a  beacon of journalistic integrity and national conscience.

A Legacy of Trust

On September 22, 1924, Hindustan Times embarked on a mission to become the authentic voice of  a nation in the making. Rooted in Delhi, it quickly became intertwined with India's freedom  movement, echoing the aspirations of millions. For 100 years, HT has been more than a paper of  record - it has been a living archive of India's triumphs, trials, and transformations.

A year-long celebration of illuminating History

To honour this remarkable milestone, Hindustan Times is launching a grand, year-long centenary  celebration. This extended commemoration will feature a series of events, special publications,  and community engagements that reflect on the past and also look forward. Hindustan Times is  transforming its iconic HT House on KG Marg into a canvas of national memory. From September

22nd to 28th, as dusk falls, the building will come alive with a breathtaking visual narrative. This  week-long spectacle will project India's journey onto the very walls that have housed a century of  journalism, reinforcing Hindustan Times' role as the 'Voice of the Nation. Since 1924.'

A Message from Leadership

Praveen Someshwar, MD & CEO of HT Media, reflects on this momentous occasion: "As we mark  this extraordinary centennial, we are profoundly grateful for the enduring trust of our readers and  partners.
