Adgully Exclusive | UTV's Kunal Mukherjee all set to offer fun-filled experience to the attendees of Goafest 2012

Goa Fest, an event looked forward to by the entire advertising and media fraternity, is an occasion to celebrate where great ideas meet for some fun, frolic and acknowledging creative talents in the industry . Amongst the many advertisers, channels and media houses participating in the festival, UTV has been actively associated with Goa Fest for the last 2 years. And this year UTV has announces bigger and better plans for the fest. All channels under the UTV umbrella ' Bindass, UTV Stars, UTV Movies and UTV Action are geared up to engage delegates with exciting brand activities, parties, innovative installations, exciting water-based activities, and some dash of Bollywood!

In an exclusive conversation with Adgully, Kunal Mukherjee, Marketing Head, UTV Broadcasting, enthusiastically shares the fun that has been lined up by UTV for the Goa Fest. Elaborating on deepening UTV association with the Festival this year, Kunal explained that "Goa Fest is one platform where the entire creative and media fraternity comes together. This creates a perfect opportunity for our network to interact with them. In the previous two years we have consciously taken up all the parties at Goa Fest. This year with UTV Stars and the re-launch of Bindaas, that is its new brand campaign, we promise to bring in more fun and zest with thrilling brand activities like splendid parties, exhilarating water sports, rollicking rain dance with its novel installation, game kiosks and a lot more..."

Emphasising the need for sponsoring parties and the media award nights, Kunal says "this helps to build up the direct association in the minds of the trade fraternity. In that spirit, Bindass -Rain Dance and the movie channels have taken up creative awards and media awards night parties. We also provided the best of World Cinema through DVD's from UTV World Movies in the first year. He

Mukherjee is also quick to add that the association is definitely going to be different from the earlier years. He says" With the entry of UTV Stars and the launch of Bindass' new brand campaign, we intend to bring in more fun and zest for all with thrilling brand activities like splendid parties, that is dancing to the DJ Akhtar's tunes and getting yourself clicked with a Bollywood star (life-size poster). Introducing some more exhilarating water sports, rollicking rain dances along with a novel installation and some really cool merchandise ,game kiosks and much more. We are sure to make Goa Fest 2012 bigger and grander than ever before."

With his eyes sharply on future business, Mukherjee and his team will leverage this opportunity especially keeping the re-launch of Bindaas in mind he add " concentration from the communication perspective across the festival will be on this channel but the other channels in the network will simultaneously conduct activities in line with their respective positioning. Bindass will not restrict its extend of re-launch campaign to the trade fraternity in Goa, but will have a prominent presence in South Goa too. Apart from Rain Dance, supported by its very innovative installation, will distribute some merchandise such as flip flops and wayfarers. The Goafest official merchandise will also have the Bindass logo along with generic branding. Apart from this, Bindaas would have a 15Ãâ€'15 feet exclusive installation on the last two days of Goafest. The recycling would ensure generating power through dynamo by cycling during the day with an artistic installation in the centre apart from the Rain Dance which is on April 21. In South Goa, the outdoor activity will appear in the form of banners on April 20 and 21. Activities from Action & Movies will be on 20th and 21st, and UTV Stars (Media Night) will be held on 20th.

Upholding the spirit of creativity, Goa Fest begins with a bang on 19th April to 21st April.
