Agency head of the year is OMD's Jasmin Sohrabji

Recently, 2009 Media Agency of the Year award was held and lots of agencies were nominated in various categories. Among all some very important categories and winners are to mention ' the Agency head of the year in the national category went to - OMD India, managing director, Jasmin Sohrabji.

In the category India and sub-continent office went to - O&M, Mumbai. The runner up in this category was Publicis Communications.

In next category Account or Business Development person - Kapil Arora, VP, O&M, Mumbai was the runner-up.

The other category was Creative Agency of the Year and the winner was - BBH, China, Singapore and India. The runner-up in this category was Publicis APAC. Spencer Wong, McCann Worldgroup Hong Kong group managing director and chief creative officer for China was the winner in this category.

It was a bitter show for the Indians as India did not win any awards in the Creative of the Year category.

From Asia there were few more winners, in the categories like - Network of the Year was won by Carat/Isobar, PHD for Media Agency of the Year, Tribal DDB for Digital Agency of the Year, while Specialist Agency of the Year went to McCann Healthcare.
