Airtel Champions League shows low ratings

The ratings have been brought out by The TAM Media Research. According to the ratings, the matches have scored less than the matches played in Indian Premier League.

According to the reports, despite the low ratings, organisers still have great expectations as they say, "Ideally, the ratings should increase, and after the first week people would understand what are the kind of teams and their names, but let's not hope for something really dramatic."

The reasons cited for the low ratings are the lack of awareness of the both the non-IPL teams and their players.
