Amway to re-launch premium brands
Amway has formed a new product - strategy for the country, seeing the potential of the direct selling market in the coming years.
Amway Vice President (Public Policy), Richard Hollis said, "Some of our products are formulated and designed in such a way that it suits the Indian people, like we are re-introducing small packages for some of our products, which are available in larger formats in the US and European market."
"India consumers have high aspirations and they want to use premium brands but due to certain economic compulsions they are not using it. To help such customers, we are going to introduce these brands in smaller formats as it doesn't make sense to introduce large bottles of cosmetics which wouldn't sell here," he added.
The firm said it has been adopting marketing strategies that suits the Indian market and will continue to do so in the coming years.
However, Hollis did not specify the brands and products the company will re-launch.
