Animal Planet ropes in Smithson Productions

The series tells the story of people who survived extreme situations. Before Darlow Smithson, Discovery Channel and Channel 4 were handling the I Shouldn't Be Alive.

The series has the interviews of the actual people who have found themselves unexpectedly thrust into struggles for survival.

The series will make a comeback for a third run on Animal Planet in the US on 15 January.
