Anuj Poddar joins Carlyle as Co-Head of Global Portfolio Solutions

Carlyle, a global investment firm, has appointed Anuj Poddar as Co-Head of Global Portfolio Solutions (GPS) for Asia, with a focus on India and Southeast Asia. Based in Mumbai, Poddar will collaborate with Carlyle's Asia investment teams, Janine Feng, and Richard Elder to drive transformational change and performance in portfolio companies. He brings over 30 years of corporate leadership and management consulting experience, having successfully driven organizational transformation and business growth. Previously, Poddar served as CEO of Bajaj Electricals, leading the company's turnaround and transformation. His prior experience includes leadership roles at Viacom18 Media and consulting services with KPMG and Arthur Andersen.
