Apparel Export Promotion Council picks Dr A Sakthivel as Chairman

Dr A Sakthivel takes over as Chairman of Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC). Dr A Sakthivel has assumed this position for the 3rd time in AEPC. Earlier he was Chairman during 1998, 2004 -05 period.

He was conferred the doctorate by Bharathiyar University. He is the recipient of "Padmashri'. Dr A Sakthivel has been the past President of FIEO, a member of National Manufacturing Competitive Council (NMCC) and various other Committees set up by Ministry of Textiles (MOT) and Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

Dr Sakthivel is the President of Tirupur Exporters' Association from its inception.
