Apurva Sircar named Chief Executive Officer of Flying Man Ventures

Apurva Sircar, who recently left Bandhan Bank, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Leander Paes’s Flying Man Ventures. He shared this announcement on LinkedIn, stating that he would lead the company's efforts across various industries including sports, sports education, health and wellness, corporate partnerships, and entertainment. Sircar aims to create a significant, positive impact through these ventures.

In his LinkedIn update, Sircar expressed both excitement and nervousness about his new role, but mentioned that Leander Paes’s supportive words, "I got you, champ!", helped ease any concerns. He also noted that it is an honor to be working closely with Leander off the court.

Before joining Flying Man Ventures, Sircar spent over seven years at Bandhan Bank, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing. With more than 20 years of experience in marketing across a range of sectors, Sircar has previously held roles at Ageas Federal Life Insurance, Birla Sun Life Insurance, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
