Atlee's Mersal marks 7 years; filmmaker shares photos with Thalapathy Vijay
The Atlee-directed blockbuster film 'Mersal' has completed 7 years of release. The film featuring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role is
billed as'most engaging mass masala entertainer' from Indian cinema. Atlee's slick storytelling, direction, Vijay's performance, and AR Rahman's music have made it one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema, where Atlee has blended Thalapathy Vijay's image in content-driven commercial potboilers.
On the 7-year anniversary, Atlee shared a picture with Thalapathy Vijay and captioned,

Mersal also had Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menon, and SJ Suryah in important roles, and it ended its theatrical run with the whopping 260 cores gross at the worldwide box office.
