Avon India names Ujjwal Mukhopadhyay as Managing Director!

Avon Beauty Products India (P) Ltd., one of the leading direct selling companies today announced the appointment of Ujjwal Sankar Mukhopadhyay as the new Managing Director. He will be responsible for driving growth and the expansion of the company's market share in India. His extensive knowledge and vast experience will provide a new direction to the company in India.

Mukhopadhyay has been associated with Avon as Director, Supply Chain and has over 20 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods as well as an in-depth knowledge of many areas of supply chain such as planning, sourcing, manufacturing and distribution and logistics. He succeeds Hemant Singh, who spent three years with Avon India.

India is an important market and as Avon transforms itself into a fully integrated, agile and more innovative global company, Mukhopadhyay's deep business insights and outstanding leadership will be instrumental in enhancing the brand value in the country.
