BAI gets fat deals for Indian Badminton team

The Badminton Association of India has tied up with Premier Brands to sponsor the team for Rs 75 million. The amount secured from the contract, brokered by Total Sports Asia would also go the badminton players.

According to the reports, the brands which have tied up with the Badminton Association of India will get to be featured on the the front of the team jerseys to be named the presenting sponsor of the Yonex Sunrise Asian Badminton Championship to be held here from 12 - 18 April 2010 as a pre-cursor to the Commonwealth Games and the domestic circuit.
