Balika Vadhu to take five year leap

One of the most popular shows on Indian television - Balika Vadhu will soon take a five year leap. However, the channel is still contemplating as to who would play the grown up

Anandi and Jagya. The character of Anandi popularized by Avika Gor, is expected to go through a complete makeover - from a chirpy child bride to a poised young woman.

According to reports, the little ones will soon grow up and will be seen as young adults trying to deal with their situation in life. All those fans who have rooted for little Avika a.k.a Anandi are sure to be disappointed to see tier little darling going off air. But as far as the story itself is concerned, the five year leap is sure to bring in some refreshing change, some newer challenges and a lot more

This leap in the story could happen as soon as mid-July.
