Bates 141 wins creative duties for MTV India

Bates 141 has won the creative mandate for MTV India. Post a multi-agency pitch, Bates was chosen from amongst three agencies that made it to the final round.

Earlier the creative duties were handled by the channel itself through in-house departments or with partners on a project basis. MTV India decided to handover the mandate to a creative agency this time around.

Speaking exclusively to Adgully, Aditya Swamy, Channel Head, MTV India, said, "Ours is a business of ideas and we are constantly looking for ways to keep our thinking fresh. In Bates 141, we found a team that shares our sense of creativity and is eager for a chance to do some genre busting work. It's been great fun making them a part of the MTV world."

Earlier Bates 141 has worked in close association with MTV, handling the creative duties for MTV Clothing and Accessories.

The media duties are still handled by Maxus.
