BBHers across the globe to go on a cycle ride; Plans to raise money for the people of Japan
All six BBH offices - SIngapore, Shanghai, Mumbai, London, New York and Sao Paulo - will be setting up exercise equipment and breaking a sweat as we row, run and cycle in shifts for 24 hours. Last year BBH London held a similar fundraiser for Haiti and raised an impressive £17,000.
Start time will be 7pm in Singapore, 7pm Shanghai, 4.30am Mumbai,12pm London, 7am New York and 8am Sao Paulo. Shanghai and Mumbai will be sharing duties. All the goings on will be streamed online at https://sweat4japan.bartleboglehegarty.com/, so check up on our progress and cheer us on if we look like we're flagging.
BBHhers from all parts of the business will be putting on their sweats for the cause including Global CEO Simon Sherwood, BBH Asia Pacific CEO John Hadfield, and BBH China CEO Arto Hampartsoumian to name a few.
Sir John Hegarty, Worldwide Creative Director, BBH comments: "As all BBH offices work so closely together it made sense for us to work as one group to raise money for this worthy cause. Please donate!"
Simon Sherwood, Group Chief Executive Officer, BBH adds: "This will be a great response to a terrible human tragedy. Many of us know people in Japan and we have several Japanese people working in our business in Asia. It's the least we can do. I'll be at the start of the Singapore stretch, and at the end of the London one."
