BCCI base price for IPL partnerships set at Rs 2,700 cr for 5 seasons

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the release of Request for Quotation for Official Partner Rights for the Indian Premier League (IPL). BCCI has set a cumulative base price of Rs 2,700 crore for the six associate and three special partner slots for IPL, as per media reports. This follows securing a Rs 2,500 crore deal with Tata Sons for the IPL title sponsorship rights.

As per media reports, Rs 65 crore a year has been set as the base price for the six associate partners for 74 matches, totalling up to Rs 325 crore for five years. As per BCCI’s request for quotation (RFQ) document, the cumulative base price for five years is calculated at Rs 1,950 crore.

The ‘Request for Quotation’ document is available on receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 5 lakh plus Rs 90,000 GST. The RFQ will be available for purchase till February 19, 2024.
