BCCI seeks agency for IPL 2025 Media Buying and Strategy
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced it is seeking an agency to handle the media buying and strategy for the highly anticipated TATA IPL 2025 season. The governing body has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) inviting agencies with relevant experience to participate in the selection process.
The chosen agency will be responsible for the pan-India media buying and strategy across multiple platforms, including television, radio, digital, print, out-of-home (OOH), and outdoor innovations. The BCCI is looking for agencies with proven in-house capabilities to service all these mediums at a large scale.
Interested parties are required to express their interest via email to [email address removed] by March 10, 2025, and provide details of their relevant experience. Subsequently, shortlisted agencies will be asked to submit detailed proposals by March 13, 2025.
The proposals should include:
- A comprehensive media plan and strategy for IPL 2025 within a budget of Rs. 30 crores (excluding taxes), with a detailed breakdown of costs for each element.
- Proof of work and in-house experience in media buying across all required mediums.
- The agency's cost, fee, or commission for each medium.
- Details of discounts offered on current market rates for bulk buying.
- Innovative outdoor advertising ideas.
The BCCI's move underscores the importance of a robust and strategic media approach to maximize the reach and impact of the IPL 2025 season, which is expected to draw massive viewership and engagement across the country.
