Bloomberg UTV picks Sriram Kilambi as President

BloombergUTV, India's premier business news channel announced the appointment of Sriram Kilambi as the President of the channel with effect from April 16th, 2012. Kilambi, an IIM - Bangalore alumnus, in his last assignment was Senior Vice-President and National Marketing Head for Radio Mirchi, the FM station of Entertainment Network India Ltd. Kilambi has over 13 years Marketing and Operations experience in the Media and FMCG industries.

Kilambi, earlier in his career, worked with Coca Cola India for seven years in various capacities and was instrumental in initiating and implementing key strategic plans for brands like 'Coca-Cola', 'Kinley' & 'Georgia' including the Rs. 5 bottle affordability campaign. He also won two awards at the '2004 Coca-Cola Worldwide Marketing Awards' for 'Best Integrated Marketing Communications Program (Rs. 5 Affordability)' and 'Consumer Insight with Greatest Business Impact (The Thanda Campaign)'.

Sriram, 35, did his Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University before joining IIM - Bangalore for his post-graduation. He is married to Jaya, who works as Vice President with Citibank. He loves football, politics, history and all forms of music.
