Bollywood stars celebrate Delhi completing 100 years only on zoOm!

zoOm, the destination for exclusive Bollywood content, celebrates the spirit of Delhi – B’town style! Tune in on 27 December, 12 noon onwards to watch Bollywood’s love for Delhi as it completes 100 years as the capital only on zoOm.

“Yeh Dilli hai mere yaar, bas ishq, mohabbat, pyaar”- the line from a song featuring in the movie Delhi 6, struck a chord with everyone. zoOm brings to you ‘Dinchak Delhi’ at 12noon highlighting many such popular songs shot in Delhi followed by ‘Dilwalon ki Dilli’ at 1pm which showcases the movies made with Delhi as backdrop.

The tall and stylish Sonam Kapoor professing her love for Delhi on zoOm says, “I have shot both Delhi 6 and Aisha in Delhi, the city has its charms and attractions which cannot be compared to any other city in the world.”

The ‘King of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan in an exclusive interview to zoOm, reminisces his first date with Gauri in Delhi. He remembers the city from a time that did not have too many restaurants, where you could wine and dine with your lady love!  Abhishek Bachchan's connect goes beyond shooting for Delhi 6 in the bylanes of the city. He tells zoOm, "I spent three years of my life growing up in Delhi; I even studied there for a year.  My grandparents and my sister live in Delhi so I visit them often. This city is extremely special to me”.

Priyanka Chopra puts it aptly for zoOm when she says, "I can’t believe its 100 years for Delhi as the capital, that’s amazing! The city has evolved so much, it's so green, and the infrastructure has improved so much. I am very proud. Happy 100 Delhi!"
