Brand Airtel travels on Bangalore Rajdhani

In continuation of it's new logo and new campaign launch the largest GSM service provider Airtel launched Airtel Branded Bangalore Rajdhani from Hajrat Nizamuddin Station, on 23rd Nov'10 at 8.50 PM. The train was flagged off by Arun Sharma ' General Manager - Marketing & Head Media- Bharti Airtel in presence of Sandeep Chawla, Director, Peacock Media Ltd.

This Rajdhani train has been branded as "Airtel Bangalore Rajdhani Train' on a PPP (Public Private Partnership) model in partnership with Indian Railways and Peacock Media Ltd. Airtel had earlier run for the first time in India, three Branded Rajdhani Trains on the same South Rajdhani Routes in 2008-09.

The new campaign with the new Airtel logo is printed on a high quality vinyl and pasted on the external train making it a moving billboard with 17 coaches and 25,000 sq. feet of media space. Internal mediums include panels, tabletops, brochure holders and branded announcements across the train. All communication is leading to the youthful rebranding and 3G services offered by Airtel. Passengers on board the train will be consuming this communication for their entire travel time along with the upgraded passenger services and a cleaner environment maintained throughout the journey.

Airtel Bangalore Rajdhani gives a new dimension to the new Airtel campaign taking the message to a very large and wide audience across 11 states, starting from Delhi to central and south of India. Since this rake will be shuffled across 3 Rajdhani Train routes (Delhi-Bangalore, Delhi-Chennai & Delhi-Trivendrum and return from all 3 routes), it will reach out to 85,000 eyeballs everyday on stoppage platforms itself, while being visible to a very large audience across it's movement areas. Internal mediums will engage for long travel hours around 1500 passengers every one-way trip. A recent Nielsen research has reported 57% unaided recall from platform audience for Branded Rajdhani Trains making it a highly effective and impactful medium.

Peacock Media Ltd. is partner with Indian Railways for upgrade cleaning and maintenance of passenger services on Rajdhani and Shatabdi Trains under a PPP agreement. Peacock has earlier done Branded Rajdhani Trains with Airtel, Max New York Life Insurance, Kerala Tourism, National Stock Exchange, BSNL and Branded Shatabdi Train with Omaxe.
