Burger King celebrates Father’s Day, Fathers’ Way!

Burger King India, one of the fastest growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chains, is back with its signature quirky humour. This time celebrating the unique ways dads show their love in a heart-warming Father's Day campaign titled #FathersDayFathersWay, conceptualised and shot by Havas Worldwide India.

Our Dads are heroes but they struggle to express their emotions or rather they communicate these emotions awkwardly. The short film captures these different expressions and encourages guests to share their Dads’ ways and celebrate them with Burger King.

In today’s digital world, guests are constantly looking for authentic content which is relatable and true to their slice of life. Burger King has always tried to stay true to guest insights and this time is taking a fun poke at Dad’s and their eccentric behaviours. The campaign kicks off with a teaser video released on June 13th, followed by a full-length launch film on June 14th. These videos will showcase the endearingly awkward, yet undeniably loving ways fathers express their affection.

Speaking about this campaign, Kapil Grover, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King – India, said, “Fathers may not always be the smoothest communicators, but their love is undeniable. This campaign celebrates the quirks that make them unique and the special bond they share with their children. We hope our guests enjoy this content piece and find a glimpse of their Dads in the video. We also encourage them to share their Dad stories with us and enjoy Free Whoppers together at a Burger King near them.”

Commenting on the thought behind #FathersDayFathersWay, Anupama Ramaswamy, Joint MD and Chief Creative Officer, Havas Worldwide India said, “Dads have always had a quirky and unique way of connecting with their children, especially when it comes to the Gen Z and Millennial kids of today. From trying to learn tech to finding a place for themselves in their child’s social circle, all they want is to be cool enough for their kids. But what they don’t know is that we love them just the way they are! So, this Father’s Day, we celebrate The Father’s Way.”

The brand is encouraging followers to participate in the #FathersDayFathersWay campaign by sharing their stories and celebrating the dads who may be a little goofy, a little embarrassing at times, but whose love is always genuine.
