Cartoon Network is set to extend the soccer mania to the toon world with the launch of its latest hit series, "Inazuma Eleven'.

Based on unrivalled passion for the game, "Inazuma Eleven' follows the story of a weak but spirited soccer team that is on the verge of shutting down unless they defeat "Teikoku Gakuen' - the strongest team in town. Starting July 2, "Inazuma Eleven' will air every Friday at 4:00 p.m. only on Cartoon Network.

Sharing details about the show, Krishna Desai, Director, Programming, Turner International India Pvt. Ltd, said, "Cartoon Network has always led from the front in offering exciting, entertaining, compelling and topical content to our viewers. With the premiere of Inazuma Eleven in India we've kicked another goal and what better time to launch a soccer-based show than alongside the World Cup! Inazuma Eleven is such a great story of sportsmanship and team work that the world cup enthusiasm is sure to go beyond the football field to the on-screen field as well."
