Shahrukh Khan, affectionately known as the "King of Romance" since his iconic role in "Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge," continues to captivate his fans. He celebrated his birthday by greeting devoted fans outside 'Mannat' with his signature pose, endearing not only for his acting prowess but also his gentle demeanor.
Once a brands' favourite, always a brands' favourite, started his acting journey with Television show, 'Dil Dariya', however 'Fauji' became his debut show. In his bollywood journey, initially the actor did a few negative roles in movies like, 'Baazigar' & 'Darr.' Watching him doing the negative roles is still not able to process for the heart of his millions fans. He became the king of romance when the Khan starred in seven films in 1995, the first of which was Rakesh Roshan's melodramatic thriller Karan Arjun. Co-starring Salman Khan and Kajol, it became the second-highest-grossing film of the year in India. His most significant release that year was Aditya Chopra's directorial debut, the romance Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, in which he played a young Non-resident Indian (NRI) who falls in love with Kajol's character during a trip across Europe. Khan was initially reticent to portray the role of a lover, but this film is credited with establishing him as a "romantic hero".
Although there was a phase where the brand Shah Rukh Khan seemed to dim due to a series of commercially less successful movies, he made a remarkable comeback with blockbusters like "Pathaan" and "Jawan," breathing new life into the Bollywood industry during the COVID-19 crisis.
Shahrukh Khan is winning the hearts of millions by not only his acting but also with his owned IPl team Kolkata Knight Riders since 2009. His production house Red Chilies Entertainment has kept on gaining auidence affectcion for movies like Always Kabhie Kabhie, Jab tak Hai Jaan & Now Jawaan.
On his 58th birthday, Badshah Khan added another achievement to his illustrious career by partnering with Rungta Steel, joining brand ambassadors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Furthermore, on the occasion of King Khan's birthday, Netflix has a special gift for his fans worldwide with the release of "Jawan" on the platform. Even Eijaz Khan, during a media interaction, shared his experience working with SRK, mentioning the initial star-struck moment but also how SRK's professionalism and care made the experience exceptional.
For those who grew up in the 90s and early 2000s, Shahrukh Khan was not only a prominent actor but also a familiar face in various Pepsi ads, with one of the most iconic ads coinciding with the release of Karan Johar's "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" in 1998.
