Chief Marketing & Sales Officer Nitin Jain, appointed as COO at OCM India

OCM India, a leading retailer & manufacturer of worsted textile suiting today announced retirement of SK Singhal, Chief Executive Officer, effective from July 15, 2013. Singhal joined OCM in March 2011 from Raymond Limited where he had headed Raymond’s textile operations at the time of his retirement following 30+ years of service.

Nitin Jain, currently Chief Marketing & Sales Officer at OCM, has been appointed by the Board of OCM as Chief Operating Officer, with full executive responsibilities effective immediately. Prior to joining OCM in November 2010, Mr.Jain worked at Raymond Limited, Nano-Tex LLC and Burlington Industries.

“SK Singhal joined OCM after an illustrious career at Raymond and has done much to reorient the company over the last two years. I join the Board in wishing Singhal well in retirement and we thank him for his service”, said Surya Mahadev, the head of the Indian office of WL Ross & Co. LLC, the US based global private equity firm and a director on the board of OCM.

“I enjoyed working at OCM, which was a different challenge compared to Raymond. OCM has the potential to be a very strong player in worsted suiting” SK Singhal said.

OCM is a retailer & manufacturer of worsted textiles with sales offices in Delhi and manufacturing facilities in Amritsar, India. OCM is sold through a network of 1100 retail touchpoints throughout India and is also exported to over 20 countries.
