Omnicom is consolidating its Australian creative powerhouses, Clemenger BBDO, CHEP Network, and Traffik, into a unified agency operating under the Clemenger BBDO banner, or simply "Clemenger."

Effective by the end of March, the merger will create a full-service agency integrating brand creative, experience, media, digital, and commerce, all driven by data and innovation. Lee Leggett will lead the new entity as CEO, succeeding Dani Bassil, who has resigned after two years. The merger aims to enhance capabilities and deliver impactful solutions for major clients like Samsung and 7-Eleven.

Les Timar, CEO of Clemenger Group, acknowledged Bassil’s contributions and her role in the agency's transition.
"Dani has worked closely with us on unifying our two leading Australian advertising agencies and believes this is the right time to move on. We thank her for her dedication and wish her all the best in her next chapter."

The newly merged Clemenger will serve major clients including Samsung, Asahi, Mars, Michael Hill, The University of Sydney, and 7-Eleven.
Timar emphasized the agency’s commitment to shaping the future of advertising: “With creativity at its core and a broad range of expertise, Clemenger will fuse bold ideas with precision execution—turning ambitious growth goals into reality.”

He added that the merger is about scaling up capabilities, not cutting down:“This isn’t about doing more with less—it’s about doing more with more.”

CEO Lee Leggett expressed her excitement about leading the agency:“We’ve built a bold offering with a clear mission: to deliver big, measurable ideas that shape the future. In a rapidly evolving world, smart, creative thinking is more critical than ever.”
