CNN-IBN and HT join hands to release UPA Govt's report card

As the UPA government completes one full year in power, India's leading news channels, CNN-IBN and IBN7 brings for their viewers a series of special shows to assess the government's performance an year after assuming office.

Watch Rajdeep Sardesai & Ashutosh along with a panel of experts & top politicians of the country dissect the hits and misses of the UPA after completion of first year of its governance. The show will go on air on CNN-IBN from 17th May ' 21st May at 10 PM and a special one-hour special on 22nd May at 8PM. On IBN7 the show will be telecast between 17th May -21st May at 8:30 PM and a special one hour on 22nd May at 8 PM.

Speaking about the show, Rajdeep Sardesai, Editor-In-Chief, IBN18 said, "The UPA made lot of promises and we want the viewers to get a clear picture of what it has delivered in this one year. The special programming will not only give an in-depth perspective into what has the government done but also will shed light on the incomplete tasks at hand but will also be forward looking in terms of the future course for the government."

A series of special programmes will reveal the results of a special survey conducted by AC Nielson ranking the top 10 politicians in the Union Government. The editorial teams from CNN-IBN, IBN7, Hindustan Times and Hindustan will pick up the most pertinent issues in the top ministries of the UPA government including the Finance Ministry, Home Ministry, HRD & Health Ministry, Law Ministry, Health Ministry, Railways Ministry, Road Transport & Highway Ministry, Environment Ministry, Foreign Policies of the government & analyse their performance based on the survey results. A special chat show hosted by Rajdeep Sardesai & Ashutosh featuring experts will focus on the performance of the UPA government holistically during its tenure as the incumbent government.
