Colors hires World Media Connect

The general Hindi entertainment channel Colors in Us has appointed World Media Connect for managing its advertising sales business.

World Media Connect is owned and managed by Dheeraj Kapuria the erstwhile head of Zee's International business and Zee Turner Distribution Joint Venture India.

Speaking about this association Gaurav Gandhi Head International Business & Chief Commercial Officer Viacom18 said from COLORS said, ''After a successful launch of the channel, we are now focusing on building a strong advertising sales revenue stream for our US business. Colors launched in the US earlier this year and has been able to capture the imagination of the South Asian diaspora in the region with its wide offering of fiction and nonfiction shows known for their unique concepts and differentiated content.
