Colors launches a new show

Colors has added yet another show to its stellar evening line up. Starting June 7th 2010, the viewers will get to see Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, a new show based on the life of a middle class maharastrian family from Shivaji Park of Mumbai.

Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai is the story of the Kulkarni family that lives under one roof, in a 1BHK apartment, all eight of them, sharing one television set, one newspaper, one life. The story portrays the stark difference in reality of the family's morals and values in a world where materialism rules supreme. Starting June 7th, the show will be aired from Monday to Friday at 7.30 PM.

Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai is the story of the Kulkarni family, a middle class joint family that is staying as a close knit unit in a time where joint families are falling apart. Mugdha's life, the beloved daughter in law of Kulkarni family who is the thread of the household that keeps the family stringed together. The story focuses on how the family's life changes as the younger son gets married and an eighth member comes to live with the family in their tiny 1BHK flat. However, Mugdha faces every problem with a smile on her face and gives strength to the other members with her grounded persona.
