Colors spent Rs 40mn for Blue

The mega-budget Blue will screen on top Hindi general entertainment channel Colors soon.

The channel has acquired the film for Rs 40 million the five-year telecast rights from Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision. And not only this, media reorts suggest that Colors had a five-year movie syndication deal with Ashtavinayak Cine Vision.

According to the reports, the channel is planning to premiere it by November-end. The TV rights include first airing, plus five airings a year spread over five years.

The channel has already roped in HUL's Vaseline petroleum jelly as title sponsor. Colors plans to get five-six associate sponsors.
