Creative agency BBH appoints Alex Grieve as new CCO

Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH), a creative agency, has named Alex Grieve as its worldwide chief creative officer.

Grieve was formerly the CCO at Abbott Mead Vickers (AMV) BBDO, and he took over for Joakim Borgstrom in the new position.

Grieve will be in charge of the Publicis Groupe-owned boutique network's creative direction and product, according to sources. He will also co-chair BBH's worldwide board of directors with Annette King, the chief executive of Publicis Groupe UK. He will also report to King.

Grieve began his career at Saatchi & Saatchi as a creative copywriter. After that, he became the creative director of BBH London. After that, he worked at Glue Isobar in the same capacity until joining AMV BBDO as a creative partner. He also held the post of executive creative director at the same company.
