Dabur ready-to-cook products coming soon

Dabur India Limited (Dabur), the fourth largest fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), is in the process to launch ready-to-cook products under its 'Hommade' brand.

Dabur wants to expand in the estimated Rs 2,800 crore (Rs 28 billion) packaged food segment.

To this, the marketing head of foods (India), Dabur, K K Chutani said, "We are looking at expanding the range soon. It will also include entry into new formats of packaged food products, which are showing good potential."

"Primarily, we shall focus in the southern market. Hence, the regional TV channels in South will be prime carriers of the new television commercial (TVC)," Chutani added.

The new products are expected to be launched in the beginning of the next fiscal.

As of now, Dabur's packaged foods business currently sells culinary products under the 'Hommade' brand and packaged fruit juices under the 'Real' and 'Activ' brands.
