David Abraham appointed as Channel 4 CEO

Channel 4 has appointed David Abraham as the new CEO. David was heading the UKTV. He will replace Andy Duncan who resigned in November.

According to the reports, the ostion that David will take over as was vacant since April 2007. In his new role, he will be responsible for the rebrand of the entire portfolio of British channels.

David has earlier headed TLC as president and general manager and served as general manager of

Discovery Networks UK for four years.
