Day 4: Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week Winter / Festive 2011

Ashish Sahani - Presenting this season "CROSSWORD”, an experimental, edgy, thematically –futuristic collection with sharp cuts. The collection is inspired from the cross-word,which is a blend of futuristic silhouette with creative surface ornamentation and embellishment that merges fashion with creativity and innovation . The surface on the garments are inspired from the the pattern of the game crossword and its form.

Rupa G – ‘Moon Pie’ - Celebrate the best part of the day with RSG. Stirred by the winter solstice, Rupa G came up with a concoction of colours on a varied combination of tunics and tops which will surely make you look…’delicious’. But what’s a top without the indent given by its complimenting leggings or minis. Now as you do a kick step to the rhythm, you know the boys are doing a head spin, and the rest of the dance floor does a back flip. That’s a slice of the good moon pie. With colors of darkness, light, sky and orchids, the collection of garments are adorned with embellishments, like a sprinkle of magic pixie dust. Rest assured you are going to liven-up any party.

Khwaish – Pavithra Dattakumar - The name of the collection is 'SAYONA'. The collection is entirely ethnic wear, very vibrant, full of life. It decorates the woman for every occasion, small or big! It is a collection of semi formal to formal. The fabrics used are mostly cottons & georgettes.

Lawman Pg3 - The collection spells a perfect blend of fine imported fabrics and well cut garments, cutomised to suit ones personality.LawmanPg3 is inventing its new season wear, stumbling upon a hereto untouched design element. - The stitch -that bonded the denim fabric into the fabled pair of jeans. Experimenting with various needles, threads, and sewing machines emerged the macho-looking Y-Fi Stitch. The Y-Fi Collection, The 11 styles, in shades of blue, green and grey in Y fit (basically low-waist, straight and slim). A combination of light sand blast and 2-D whiskers to an eco-friendly decieze wash, keeping the fabric quality and construction in its purest form to give the product a strong sense of identity

PN Rao – Narendra Kumar - NK was first introduced to the Bangalore fashion world by P N Rao through the Narendra Kumar Collection that was launched couple of months ago. The collection showcased on Sunday is inspired by smart work wear for men and women. The clothes will be something everyone can relate to, well-tailored garments with clean lines and cuts.This line is being showcased for the very first time at the BFW and some of the clothing thereafter will be showcased at the Lakme Fashion Week at Mumbai and later on at other fashion events.
