Dipshikkha Naggpal on lavish celebrity weddings

Actress Dipshikkha Naggpal, known for iconic TV shows like Shaktimaan, Son Pari, and Shararat, believes celebrity weddings mirror grand film sets or award functions. She notes, “They earn so much, so they can spend it lavishly. It’s part of their profession to make weddings extravagant. I’ve attended many weddings, and while it’s their choice, the memories are what matter most.”

Reacting to the staggering statistic of 48 lakh Indian marriages in the next two months, Dipshikkha congratulates those embarking on a new journey. “Marriage is beautiful with the right person at the right time. Otherwise, it can be a disaster,” she remarks.

Discussing changing wedding trends, she reflects on how social media has transformed simple ceremonies into elaborate productions. Despite having a grand wedding herself, she favors simplicity. “For my daughter’s wedding, I’d prefer to invest in her future rather than a lavish event. But in the end, it’s her happiness that matters.”

Dipshikkha also admires iconic celebrity unions, calling Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding a fairytale. “They are the perfect couple—like a king and queen. Their love is truly inspiring.”
