'Discover More' with Discovery

The international channel Discovery has launched its new primetime Discover More.

The one-hour slot showcases natural events, pioneering medical science, future technologies, remote geographies, engineering marvels and mega constructions every night from 8 to 9 pm.

From exploring the rainforests of Borneo, home to over a million species of plants, insects and animals, to the remote New Guinea which inhabit the largest Queen Alexandra birdwing butterflies, the programmes will reveal the splendor and majesty of the universe as never seen before.

Its series Nature's Greatest Wonders will bring the supreme marvels that nature has to offer. Revealing major breakthroughs in medical science to know how our brain works, what is pain and how do some control it; the viewers will learn how human body is engineered for strength and endurance in the series Human Body: Pushing the Limits.

Monsters Inside Me will investigate the smallest yet the most powerful organisms on the planet. Using the latest MRI scanning technology, combined with CGI, Extreme Bodies is a series that looks deep into the structures of the most amazing human bodies nature has ever created.

Capturing the biggest, most complex and most dangerous engineering projects around the world, Megabuilders will chronicle construction projects in modern engineering.
