Discovery channel explores the cosmos with great scientists

Discovery channel takes you through the universe with Stephen Hawking special. Stephen Hawking will reveal the wonders of the universe ' from the Big Bang to the end of time, and the possibility of alien life and time travel.

Stephen Hawking is a British theoretical physicist whose scientific career spans over 40 years. Diagnosed with debilitating motor neurone disease, Dr. Hawking is someone who has defied all odds of living a normal life; much less discover radical scientific what-ifs that have baffled most of us. Despite being unable to eat or get in and out of bed himself, Dr. Hawking is able to construct convoluted diagrams and manipulate complex equations in his head. Dr. Hawking has proved to be a crucial force in the development of general relativity and cosmology, and is regarded by many to be the greatest genius alive today.

This landmark series will air every Monday at 9 pm from 5th to 26th July.
