Discovery posts a growth in Q3

Discovery's revenue in 3rd quarter is marginally up and the company has registered the revenue of $854 million. The amount is marginally from the year-ago period.

The 5% growth at US Networks was partially offset by a 2% decline at International Networks, primarily the result of a $22 million unfavorable impact from foreign currency fluctuations.

Adjusted operating income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) increased by 17 per cent to $364 million, driven by 18 per cent growth at US Networks and seven per cent growth at International Networks.

Total Company Adjusted OIBDA margin increased to 43 per cent for the third quarter from 37 per cent for the same period a year ago.
