Conceptualized by Ogilvy, the campaign addresses the challenge of obtaining last-minute tickets during the holiday rush, offering a solution to this frequent travel frustration.

 

Flipkart

This Diwali, Flipkart is inviting shoppers to embrace what they eagerly wish to do: get rid of the old and welcome the new. Understanding that many people wait for an auspicious occasion to make significant purchases, the brand has unveiled a new campaign that encourages customers to take advantage of its Big Diwali sale. Conceptualised by FCB Kinnect, the task was to quickly set up the need for the Big Diwali Sale, right after Big Billion Days. The idea, simply articulated with the line ‘Purana Hatao’ humorously misdirects the audience and effectively conveys the campaign’s message.

Target in India

In a first of its kind, Target in India (TII) team members are closely associated with the design and packaging of a specially curated Diwali assortment retailing in Target stores for the festive season. The Brand Design Lab (BDL), team at TII, working in close partnership with the US team, developed a unique creative identity for this vibrant collection taking inspiration from ubiquitous truck art in India to bring alive traditional Diwali motifs.

The products that are displayed as part of Target’s Diwali 2024 collection online and across its stores is one of the many ways in which the TII team is making a big impact on the product assortment from over 8,000 miles away. The designs are all at once radiant, decorative, whimsical, and eclectic, incorporating quintessentially festive elements like diyas, marigolds, sweets, and sparklers.
