DLF World School- Set to Create a new Landmark in Education

The much awaited launch of DLF World School- a 21st century school with a soul- was held at its school premises in Greater Noida Sector: Zeta-I on Sunday, February 19, 2012. DLF World School is another branch of DLF Public School, Sahibabad which has over the years proved its excellence in education with a nationwide accreditation of being in India’s Top 10 Most Respected Schools (Ref. Education World C fore Survey, Sept. 2011),

DLF World School is a futuristic school with a smart amalgamation of world class infrastructure & facilities, 21st Century curriculum, aided with latest technology, and caring souls that aims to build 21st century thinking skills in students. As envisioned by the School Chairman, Mr. Rakesh Khullar, it aspires to create a 21st century learning environment through e-classrooms equipped with latest technology educational aids like Smart Boards, Digital Books and Projectors. DLF World School has also partnered with latest educational researches in the country and is committed to creating a world class global environment with a well rounded curriculum embedded with international visits, exchange programmes and virtual meets. The school shall commence from the academic session 2012-2013.

To mark the inauguration, the one of its kind ‘Little Feet Festival’ was organized for children and their parents. It was a day centered around children to make each child feel special. It had a unique confluence of activities designed around nourishing children’s multitude of intelligences and so did it engage them to totality. The parents got introduced to the school through DLF Public School’s student ambassadors who own the school the most. The entire walkthrough of parents acquainted them with the multi dimensional facets of the 21st Century empowered curriculum adopted by the school and its mission and vision.

Parents took back Miniatures of their little one’s feet, met the best Story Teller in town at ’Kathashala’, made friends with a book at a happening Book Corner, went Foodie at the ‘Basil Leaf’, Sang along with their children at the ‘Mozartsy’ and admired the adventure and amusement zones. Hand cast impressions and Intelligence rewarding take aways made their day even more special.

The larger objective behind this new educational initiative is to not only create a good school but a good society thereby DLF World School envisions to prepare caring, courageous and concerned 21st century citizens; of the world, for the world!
