Don’t fight for who is right, Fight for what is right
Authored by Kumar Suryavanshii Independent Creative Strategist consultant & Storyteller
In our industry, most arguments are about proving who is right, not what is right. It’s easy to fight for egos, but fighting for principles takes true strength and conviction.
When you fight for what is right, you risk losing a lot:
• You might lose the chamchas who thrive on flattery.
• You might lose being in everyone’s good books.
• You might lose your footing in office politics.
• You might lose superficial appreciation.
• You might lose that coveted promotion.
• And yes, you might even risk losing your job.
But here’s what you’ll never lose—the very essence of being a true creative mind:
The 3 C’s—Craft, Character, and Charisma.
Some may warn you:
“Agar aap politics ka hissa nahi banoge, toh aapka career khatam ho jayega.”
But I believe otherwise. If you have Craft, Character, and Charisma, the world can rob you of material possessions—your tijori, but it can never take away your taleem aur talent.
So, stay true to your work, your principles, and most importantly, to yourself. Because one day, the world will recognize what is right. And on that day, you’ll stand out as someone who not only fought but won with your Craft, Character, and Charisma.
Don’t fight for validation; fight for values. Don’t chase applause; chase authenticity.
The noise around you will fade, but your integrity will echo forever.
Let’s lead with courage, purpose, and unwavering integrity.
