The number of agents associated with health insurers recorded a 20.21% growth in the year 2022-23. Out of the total 11.58Lakh agents of Stand-alone health insurers, 28.23% were women agents and 71.77% were male agents. The number of women insurance agents in India has increased significantly over the years, reflecting a growing recognition of the sector’s potential to empower women.
