ESPN gets the rights for Olympic Winter Games
ESPN Star Sports has won the rights for Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, and the channel will air the opening ceremony on February 13 at 7:25 am on ESPN.
The Vancouver Games will showcase winter sport athletes over the next two weeks. Three Indians including Ski athletes Tashi Lundup and Jamyang Namgyal and Luger Shiva Keshavan will represent India at the Winter Olympics.
The 2010 Olympic Winter Games will feature seven sports and 86 medal events: Biathlon, Bobsleigh and Skeleton, Curling, Ice Hockey, Luge, Skating (Figure Skating, Short Track Speed Skating, Speed Skating), Skiing (Alpine Skiing, Cross-Country Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, Nordic Combined, Ski Jumping, Snowboard).
