Even as buzz grows for release of Mirzapur 3, makers are planning Mirzapur 4

Even though the third season of Mirzapur is yet to be released, the makers have hinted at season 4 already. The first two seasons of Mirzapur, a crime drama, have been hit and during the recent Amazon Prime video launch day, the glimpses of season 3 intrigue the viewers.

The series stars Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu, Shweta Tripthi as Golu, Rasika Dugal as Bina Tripathi, and Divyendu Sharma.

Divulging some details about the upcoming season, Ali said, “Season 3 will have a lot more masala than the previous seasons, people will get to feel the same flavour which Season 1 had. I am not saying that Season 2 was bad, it was good too. But this time around there are some interesting characters introduced and some of the old characters will exit, while others are making an entry into the show. It is an interesting mix, Gurumeet Singh, our director, has beautifully given a new take to it.”

Shweta said, “I just want to say that I really enjoyed doing this season and the show. I am sure when people watch it, they will also enjoy it a lot.”

Rasika said, “I am waiting for the day when Season 3 will be out and I am sure that the audience will then ask when Season 4 is coming.”

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani, who was present for the launch, also hinted at Season 4 and said, “I think all of them have said a lot about Mirzapur 3; I think I should dwell on Mirzapur 4 now.”

The character of Divyendu, which was shown being killed in the previous season, is supposed to make a comeback in the upcoming season. There have been many speculations about the launch date of the show, as per the latest reports, it is said that Season 3 might be launched in the next two months.
