Ex Bigg Boss Fame, Puneesh Sharma starts second Innings with Music Album
Puneesh Sharma, who had received fame as a Bigg Boss contestant is back in news with his new music video ‘Haara Nahi Hoon'.
Puneesh was best known for his strong aggressive play inside the Bigg Boss House. However, including his break-up with girlfriend Bandgi Kalra, Puneesh Sharma faced a lot of lows in his life. Speaking about his low phases, Puneesh says, “Post the pandemic, there was little work and I had to face a lot of challenges. My popularity which I had received as an Ex-Bigg Boss contestant also faded. Nevertheless, I got to meet people from the industry who raised my hopes with fake promises to make them crash again. I had signed one film and was preparing for that, but it was scrapped. In this I wasted 6 months of my life. Similarly, I was assigned a television show but when I turned-up on the set, I got to know I was replaced by an actor who according to them was more suitable for the role.” He further added, “Then I got another TV show, in which including me many other actors were also replaced. These all experiences demoralised me a lot.”
Now, with his latest music video Puneesh believes is his time for fame again. Speaking about his new venture, he shares, “I was holidaying in Goa where I met a reputed producer, who encouraged me to start my own production house and said – ‘Give yourself work’. I know there are many people like me who cannot reach genuine producers like Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar etc and get trapped with the wrong set of people.”
On being asked about the vision of his Production House, named Volume Up, Puneesh says, “We have started with a music video ‘Haara Nahi Hoon’ and we will be doing short entertainment clips which has real life, real people. These will include stories which will be made from ground level with all good quality production values. There are two looks in the song - one is a regular look and one is a rockstar look which I feel audience will find interesting.”
Asked about his angry young man image that brought him fame at the Bigg Boss House, Puneesh says, “I am a product of Colors Channel and Endemol but after that they never offered me anything. This disappointed me as I had given a lot during my participation in Bigg Boss.” On being asked about his equation with Bigg Boss Host, Salman Khan, Puneesh said, “It is not easy for someone to contact the superstar. He will only meet someone whom he wants to meet.”
Puneesh shares that his parents were the biggest support during his toughest times. He says, “Parents care the most for their children, no one else cares.”
Puneesh, who had found love inside the Bigg Boss house with fellow contestant Bandgi Kalra, have recently split after a relationship of 5 years. On this he says, “We had a great time together for 5 years and I have no negativity inside me.”
