eYantra forays into B2C business
India's one of the leading brand merchandizing and corporate gifting solutions company Eyantra has stepped in to B2C business with launch of its first direct consumer initiative - Foostor (www.foostor.com). The service has opened in beta mode.
Foostor is currently available with products in electronics, home appliances, mobiles, digital cameras and shall soon expand to more product categories.
The company has chosen a limited marketplace model to begin its operations and will be based out of Hyderabad.
eYantra recently closed a $3.1 million Series A funding from global venture capitalists to boost its expansion plans. A member of International Gift Council (IGC), eYantra has offices in major cities in India and a sales office in US.
The company has a team-strength of around 250 employees and clocked a turnover of around Rs 35 Crores for FY 2009.
