Fans get a chance to take over a brand's twitter handle!
In another first of its kind initiative, AXN India endowed fans of the most anticipated show of the year, Supernatural Season 9, an opportunity to tweet with the official AXN India twitter handle for a day. The Supernatural fans participated in a fantasy plot creation for Season 9 of Supernatural where they carried forward the story of the show where it was left at the end of Season 8. 2 winners, Zenia and Naina from Mumbai and Delhi respectively took over the AXN India Handle and hosted the Season 9 Premiere. The winners were also awarded Official signed merchandise of Supernatural.
Through its innovative Social Media Campaign, ’Supernatural Fantasy Plotline’, AXN India became the First Brand in India to provide its fans ownership of its brand channel. The hashtag #SPN9onAXN trended on Twitter at #2 Position in India, reaching out to 46,300 people and garnering 7,01,200 exposures was also endorsed by Twitter as a best practice for building engagement.

’Supernatural Fantasy Plotline’ was carried over a period of 4 days wherein fans started sharing thrilling and gripping plots for the Winchester Brothers from where season 8 let off. . While Indian fans were waiting to know whats in store for them with the new season, AXN gave them a chance a build their own Supernatural Fantasy Plotline. Each day, there was one fan plotline selected from Facebook and Twitter and carried forward as the next day's starting point in the plotline. This way fans built an entire plotline for the latest season.
