Fanta drops the orange from its logo

Fanta has globally launched a new visual logo created by London-based graphic designer Jones Knowles Ritchie (jkr).
The new identity aims to "inspire people to find the fun in life and make the plain playful, with a look that remains unmistakably Fanta", says a press release. Jones Knowles Ritchie has dropped the orange and leaf from its logo. The orange background has also vanished, which makes the logo work better across a range of different iterations of the drink. This change reflects that Fanta isn't always orange in terms of flavour.
The change puts Fanta in line with Coca-Cola and Sprite.
