Finally 'Fortune' for India

US magazine Fortune by the Time Inc, that deals with news and current affairs has finally met its fortune and will be available on newsstands in India soon. The news of the magazine's entry in Indian market has been there in media since the year 2007.

According to an official release the magazine will be published under the name "Fortune India'. The guesstimated cost of the fortnightly magazine will be above Rs 100.

The magazine that is famous for its annual ranking of 500 biggest corporation is going to compete with "Forbes India' that launched last year in the India. This will be the second international magazine getting launched in Indian market this year after Lonely Planet and Conde Nast Traveller is going to be the third entrant further this year.

Fortune has a worldwide circulation of more than 1 million and a readership of nearly 5 million, other than its annual rankings it is also into live settings, hosting a wide range of annual conferences, including the FORTUNE Global Forum.
